New Year New You? No!
There’s nothing wrong with the old you…
As we turn the page on another year and say hello to 2022 it is a great time to introspect and review. My wish is that you take as much time to observe and celebrate your wins from this past year as you do the losses or things you’d like to change.
It may take some extra effort to find successes from this last year, our minds are wired to focus on the negative. If you can take the time to focus on, remember and celebrate the things about this year that were uplifting and felt like a success, it will be worth it.
Try to journal about your experiences, to solidify in your memory that there were some positive moments in 2021.
See? You don’t need a new you in 2022, you are pretty great just how you are!
If you do want to make some changes, add small easy health practices to your life, like three minutes of daily meditation, or ten minutes of exercise, and work up from there. If you make huge changes and high and lofty resolutions, you may be setting yourself up for failure.
Making change is difficult, but with support and patience, you can make changes successfully.
On New Year’s Day, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm pacific time, I am offering a workshop to help you set intentions for positive change in 2022. Join me for meditation, mindfulness, and yoga, along with some writing exercises, to clarify your desires and add some practices to improve your health and well-being in 2022. You can register HERE.
And if you want private wellness coaching or yoga classes, I have some Holiday Specials you can purchase now and use anytime you are ready.
Blessings to you for a successful 2022.
